CALL FOR IDEAS AND SUPPORT

Ever have a Vision?...a Great Idea? See a Market Opportunity? But can't get anyone to Listen? What do you do?

When you are passionate about something, you keep trying. So this is a call for ideas and support. I am a mother (albeit an entrepreneur, techie, and off-the-wall energetic). It started with looking for an "Entrepreneurial" program for my teenage sons (and selling hangers and t-shirts didn't even come close).

Teens are interested in technology. Tap into that technology and watch what they can do. Wow. Second Life, an untapped opportunity to reach teens and prepare them for the jobs of tomorrow. Where else can you blend Math, History, Art, Literature, and Music. Blend it with Computer technology, Internet Connectivity, and Entrepreneurial Creativity. Expose them to a Global economy and an International Market.

Add some structure and Second Life is easily an educational medium for Teens. As a family and "village" we pooled our knowledge and wrote A Beginner's Guide to Second Life to bridge the learning curve and scream the message. Hoping the traditional organizations trying to reach today's youth will take a closer look. Developing a Teen Program is easy, we've done that. Finding an organization that will listen is the challenge....but we keep trying.

Ideas are welcomed.

SECOND LIFE BOOK |"A Beginner's Guide to Second Life" by v3image |

The v3image team decided to write "A Beginner's Guide to Second Life" after seeing so many newbies struggle with understanding SL. Frustrated, many of our early newbie "friends" never returned. In a follow-up survey (http://www.SurveysXpress.com) we found that many Newbies were often experiencing this frustration, which we felt was unnecessary. Second Life is fun, and should be for EVERYONE.

Since the v3image team has the combination of technical, design, and programming experience (plus we have written books before) we pooled our Real Life and Second Life knowledge. We developed this fun guide for the Beginner in Second Life. Though some of you more experienced residents will find it to be a beneficial review. At the very least, we give you a Shortcut Command Guide, and an Second Life Tour list by category. Also be sure to enter the Photo Journey Contest and take us up on the Quick Flight Activity Challenge. See if you build with primfficiency and understand machinima. If you are patient, study the numbers. Algebra and Geometry should have been that simple in school.

We had a lot of fun writing "A Beginner's Guide to second Life"----watch for what we are ready to publish next.
